A #CalPoly partnership is shedding a new light on rattlesnakes. Project RattleCam in May placed its third #rattlesnake livestream camera in an unnamed location in Pennsylvania, according to a news release. Observers will be able to watch the timber rattlesnakes 24/7 through the fall, the release said. “It’s really important to me that people know that this isn’t just a camera,” said Cal Poly professor and project co-director Emily Taylor in the release. “This is a community science project where people can act as researchers from their own homes.” Read more at sanluisobispo.com. #slo #snakes #research
