A SLO #Starbucks location abruptly closed this weekend, amid a nationwide transformation led by the company’s new CEO. “We know this may be hard to hear — because this isn’t just any store,” a sign posted on the 3971 S. Higuera St. coffeehouse read. “It’s your coffeehouse, a place woven into your daily rhythm, where memories were made, and where meaningful connections with our partners grew over the years. We’re deeply grateful for the community that’s been built here.” The store was expected to close for good at end of day Saturday, Sept. 27.
