The search for the remains of Kristin Smart continued for a second day at the Arroyo Grande home of Susan Flores, the mother of Paul Flores, who was convicted of murdering Smart in 2022. Investigators took soil samples in the front yard of Flores’ home on East Branch Street on the second day of the investigation, which is now expected to last at least two to three days.
